⇒ The Story of '47: An American Family Passion

1947: The Beginnings

✓ Italian twin brothers Henry and Arthur D'Angelo knew only 2 words when they landed in America "two cents".

The energy of their youth, encouraged them to start selling sports memorabilia on the streets of Boston at the age of only 12.

1967 - The Family

✓ Founded in the 1940s, the brand has always been able to make caps and beanies that live up to its customers' expectations.

"Some kids get their education in a classroom; others get it at Fenway Park."

Like baseball, the family business has taught Arthur's four sons, now co-owners of '47, valuable lessons about teamwork - and competing at every turn.

2004 -The Passion

✓ '47 brand caps represent the legacy of every team in the NBA, MLB and NFL.

That same tenacious spirit that began in 1947 has permeated the brand culture that '47 enjoys today.

As the second generation takes the '47 forward, rooted in family values, the '47 continues to create authentic products, steeped in vintage American culture.
