The History of GOORIN BROS
Created by Cassel Goorin in Pittsburgh in the late 19th Century, a fisherman who began making his own hats to protect himself from the sun during his activities. He sold his creations with his horse and cart.
Then in the 1920's, his sons Alfred and Ted led the company into the distribution network of American hat makers. It was then that they decided to rename the company " GOORIN BROS ", to show that the Goorin brothers were in the game.
In 1949, they moved to the West Coast and California, more precisely to San Francisco.
